4x6 print refers to the dimensions of the photo on the sheet of paper, meaning several photos can be printed on a larger sheet of paper when the size of the paper and the settings of the printer are correct. Careful planning of the layout, for instance, can minimize paper waste when making multiple prints, Visuals Clipping explains. When printing if the images are to be cut, always review the printable area and allow enough space to be cut.
