Sharing what I learned from my own situation. Once the front bumper was replaced, the blind spot monitor kept giving false alerts and the parking sensors reacted noticeably late. The shop explained that radar, lidar and camera based systems shift out of alignment after panel or windshield work, so recalibration is not optional if you want the assistance features to behave the way they did from the factory.
