Do Good Luck Cards Make a Difference? (14 อ่าน)

Over the past few years, I've noticed that many workplaces have become more remote and fast-paced. Whether someone is preparing for an important client presentation, a certification exam, a new project, or even their first day in a new role, we often send a quick message in a chat and move on. While that's convenient, I sometimes feel those messages don't have the same personal touch that people remember.
Recently, our team tried something different by sending good luck cards before a major project launch. Everyone added a few words of encouragement, shared a positive memory, or wished the person success in their own way. It didn't take much time, but the response was surprisingly positive. The colleague later mentioned that reading those messages helped reduce their nervousness and reminded them that the whole team was supporting them.
Since some of our teammates work from different cities, we also explored free good luck ecards that everyone could sign online. It made the process much easier because no one had to wait for a physical card to be passed around. During my search, I found theecards.com, which gave us ideas for creating digital group cards that everyone could personalize with their own message.
I've realized that these small gestures often have a bigger impact than we expect. A thoughtful message can boost someone's confidence, strengthen team relationships, and create a positive workplace culture. Even after the event is over, people often go back and read those messages again because they remind them of the support they received.
I'm curious how other teams handle moments like these. Do you have a tradition of sending encouragement before an important meeting, project deadline, interview, or career milestone? Or do you think a simple message in a group chat is enough these days?
