A punch list is a list or elaborate checklist that is compiled toward the end of a construction, or a housing renovation process and which records work or concerns that require a solution in order to complete it formally. It is usually made by the architects, designers or contractors when going on a final walk through inspection. It is meant to record things-such as incomplete work or fault- that need to be resolved before delivering the project. There are also project owners who create their own punch lists prior to final payment as means of quality delivery. This list will facilitate the prevention of possible oversights and facilitate a protective handover process.
